MY COMMENT ABOUT THE VIDEO:
Metrology is one of the most important science, cause is about measurement. In this video we see how important it is to obtain accurate measurements, as well as in other examples.
The precision and accuracy that you have in this example shows us that we would be able to control machines in locations not accessible to men, checking the accuracy of the movements of the machine, as well as the measures taken under the sea, or perhaps in also space for large distances.
Giving us not only measured data, but it experienced in the measurement process, ENRICHING SCIENTIFIC USEFUL DATA to scientifics or responsible for what is being measured and thus, improving every aspect of this technology.
The correct measurement, provides better utilization of our resources, which can improve people’s lives, the world and technology.

1. ZEROTH LAW of thermodynamics states that if two bodies are in thermal equilibrium with a third body, they are also in thermal equilibrium with each other.
2. Thermodynamics can be defined as the science of ENERGY.
3. MECHANICAL equilibrium is a condition of a system in which all the relevant types of equilibrium are satisfied.
4. GAGE pressure is the difference between the absolute pressure and the local atmospheric pressure.
5. THERMAL equilibrium means that the temperature is the same throughout the entire system.
6. 3RD LAW of thermodynamics states that the entropy of a pure crystalline substance at absolute zero temperatures is zero.
7. CYCLE is any change that a system undergoes from one equilibrium stat to another.
8. ABSOLUTE pressure is the actual pressure at given position and it is measured relative to absolute vacuum.
9. 2ND LAW of thermodynamics is expressed as the entropy of and isolated system during a process always increases or, in the limiting case of a reversible process, remains constant.
10. CONSERVATION OF MASS principle expresses that net mass transfer to or from a control volume during a time interval is equal to the net change in the total mass within the control volume during the time interval.

Conventional matching, one of the most important material removal processes is a collection of material-working processes in which power-driven machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses are used with a sharp cutting tool to mechanically cut the material to achieve the desired geometry. COMMENTARY OF THE VIDEO: HOW SWORDS ARE MADE?
Before the invention of gunpowder, people created swords, and those were used as the main instruments of war, being one of the weapons that completed an arsenal of shields, archery and armors. In the modern age, where guns and heavy war gear has taken the protagonism in war, these ancient instruments of war are now produced for ornamental purposes, or produced as children´s toys or historical replicas of ancient times.
These modern imitations have the one intention of making our minds believe that we own a piece from the age of great battlefields and legendary knights and warriors.
To create those swords, you must first create a large rectangular piece of metal, in this video called “high carbon steel”, which is the sword on raw material that is created with the sword that needs to be molded.
Placed in a machine that is responsible for cutting with pinpoint accuracy, wearing with high-speed machines. Note that in the process water is applied (or any liquid that is not named) to prevent combustion and give lubrication in the process in court.
Blacksmiths previously had to make this process a very rustic, handmade, which meant a very slow process. however this machine does it in just a few minutes.
This process makes the sword is more consistent due to poor handling of the metal, which does not suffer any damage. After the cut, you get the blade of the sword. Then it is summersed in a liquid at high temperatures, which eliminate impurities left by the cutting process, a process we call HEATING.
After that, is immersed in a cooling liquid, a process called in the video as “Quenching” (kinda) which gives the material its strength and flexibility of the sword.
Of course, as any material, makes a shine to undergo a process of sanding, with machines that wear out with high-speed friction, giving brightness and edge characteristic of swords.
Then, after having the blade of a sword, now we get a gun. which we know has a great edge and dangerous, cutting a very soft, like a sheet of paper, or something very hard as other metal objects with this check its sharpness and strength. From this moment we can consider this piece of metal that we had at first, as a weapon we must use CAREFULLY.
Now, the creation of the handle.
Using plastic molds, wax patterns are created that are used as guides to mold them into metal.
So like make copies of keys, using the original, molded shape, for metal cutting machine has a guide of what to do.
In this step, we realize that not everything is handmade precision, because the wear on the handle of the sword, and is not a mechanical process, but manual, which will always have IMPERFECTIONS, as we see in sanding round pieces.
So likewise as in the assembly process, also handmade, vocation is needed for the next esteps.
The whole process from here on out is manual. Which in my opinion could still be an automatic process and it is not something difficult to accomplish. As the adjustment of the handle with imitation of wood with the imitation wood handle, surrounded by cord.
Is good to note that the insignia engraved on the sword, not be considered works of art, they have not been carved but made using chemicals.
In my opinion, creating such swords may be faster, and automatized, but it serves its purpose, creating a replica of a medieval sword, I think, excellent, no trouble to do thanks to technology that we have to create . Could be assured that their durability and quality is better than old swords.
All artifacts can be improved thanks to technology we can implement in their creation, that of having had in the past, surely the story would be different.
